About Eddie's
Eddie’s Bakery Café was founded in 1939 by Eddie Riedenauer and was known as Eddie’s Pastry Shop.  After 45 years in its second location in the Manchester Center, Eddie’s son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Laurie Riedenauer, moved the business to the growing North East Fresno area. Their new beautiful 7000 square foot, freestanding building included the bakery and a café, with indoor and outdoor seating for up to100.  In 2007, Eddie’s Bakery Café was purchased by Central Valley restaurateur Marc Wickliffe, and his wife, Rachelle.  Marc's 20 plus years of owning and operating successful restaurants help them remain focused on continuing to provide the high quality, delicious baked goods that Eddie’s loyal customers expect, with convenient, friendly and professional service. 

 

After nearly 70 years of business, Eddie’s continues to combine the use of the finest ingredients, state-of-the-art equipment, and old world artisan baking skills to produce the best possible bakery products.  Eddie’s full-line bakery specializes in Decorated Cakes, Pastries, Cookies, Breads, Wedding Cakes, daily Café Lunches, Saturday and Sunday morning Breakfast, and gourmet coffee beverages from our full service Espresso Bar.
